House Mill, Three Mills, Lane, London, E3 3DU

An outdoor creative listening workshop to connect, share knowledge, and attend to the River Lea’s needs.

Hosted at House Mill, this outdoor workshop is an invitation to channel the wishes of the River Lea. The workshop includes deep listening and creative activities to tune into the river’s presence and consider what it might ask for - its needs, limits, and possibilities. This session brings together multiple voices to explore river rights, ecology, and collective stewardship.

Taking time to connect, share knowledge, and attend to the river’s needs, the workshop will channel our inner rivers to give voice to what the river wants, creating a collection of wishes in support of its rights and agency. These contributions will form part of the Manifold exhibition at UCL East.
