Rewild Remake

→ This event has already happened

Hackney Marshes, Homerton Road, London, E9 5PF

This session combines environmental action with artistic exploration in a hands-on making session using materials litter picked along the River Lea.

This event includes a guided litter pick in collaboration with Rewilding the Old Lea followed by the transformation of our found materials to new forms in collaboration with the recycling studio Are You Mad.

Removing harmful plastics from the riverside habitat, participants will convert these materials into beautiful drinking coasters as a reminder of our ecological entanglement in water systems and ecology.
