Manifold is a multi - form artwork by Emma Smith with all elements rooted in the artist ’ s social practice. Manifold includes a public art installation, engagement programme, digital space and exhibition.

The artwork draws on UCL Multi Lab research which addresses critical questions relating to biodiversity loss, ecosystem degradation and climate change.

Manifold seeks to unlearn our human sense of ecological autonomy through nature led thinking , playing with our perception of scale and edge to deepen understanding of our connectivity as part of local and global ecologies.
