Manifold adapts with the seasons taking the transformative process of composting as inspiration.

With each season the physical and digital artworks change colour, transforming from cocoon state through a process of rupture and blooming to decay and vernalization.

With each new season the Manifold live programme shifts ecological focus weaving connections between water, air, plant and habitat and drawing on research across the fields of ecosystem, microbial, population and community ecology.

This digital work composts this process, rotating its content in an ongoing process of decomposition and renewal.
